Oscar nominations were announced yesterday. I DO NOT claim to be any kind of expert on movies, actors and the like. Heck, I haven't even seen over half the movies nominated. I do know that I was pretty excited about Catalina Sandino Moreno's nomination for her role in Maria Full of Grace. If you don' t know anything about this movie I urge you to visit my co-worker and friend, Evan Pulgino. He posted a review of the movie a while back (that link is here) Evan IS an expert on all things movie. At least in my opinion he is.
On the movie front, John and I signed up for Netflix. We did this back in December and I am not regretting the decision one bit! I am seeing movies I've wanted to see for years and movies I should have seen a long time ago. The no late-fee thing really helps out too. John and I have a serious issue with returning movies on time. I think we have a few fees at Giant Eagle's around Pittsburgh now. We just have decided to never rent there again. ha. The best part of Netflix? The X-Files DVD's we can rent. I'm loving that.
