I just can't help it. I love taking pictures of her and posting them. Sorry! Téah surprised John & me tonight. She finished eating and was just letting me hold her. She was completely still, but very wide awake. After holding her for about 20 minutes with no further developments toward sleep I decided to experiment and put her in her bed wide awake (pacifier firmly planted in mouth though!) I thought for sure she'd be screaming within minutes (that is usely the way it works) However, she was quiet and after being checked on by both her mom and dad multiple times (I think we were afraid something was wrong!) she actuallyl went to sleep. On her own. Amazing.
Maybe the cold she and I have both had has caught up with her. I think we will both sleep in tomorrow morning. We need it! It's been a long week!

Hi Alyssa
I have really enjoyed reading your blogs about Teah, and being a new mom. Perhaps this love for Teah which you are sharing with us, through discussing your joy at the simple events is the very same love of which the scripture speaks. That total love which transcends vocabulary and simply is.
Yeah Teah Jane!!!!!
