I imagine Téah jane saying, "pffft! Silly mommy!!" in this picture. Fitting, don't you think?
A new year, a new post. Téah Jane's grandma gave her this Elmo book that makes noise as a Christmas gift. The Elmo sound sounds like a monkey. Actually John just said, "I think Elmo is a monkey. No, Elmo is a chimp. That's right, a chimpanzee, Téah." Téah just looked at him and went on her way in her excersaucer. I don't think Elmo is a chimp or a monkey though. I'm not sure what he is - but he's some kind of red furry thing that Gavin fell in love with when he was a little older than Téah. We'll see if Téah likes him as much. John first introduced Gavin to Elmo through www.sesamestreet.com. And for a while Gavin thought the computer was Elmo. It was funny. Then the "el" sound transferred to other words. The moon became "el moon," etc. I can't wait to see what Téah says that I'll remember like that.
Téah also received a stuffed puppy from her Uncle Richard, Aunt Priscilla and cousin Gideon. She likes to chew on it. Of course it helps that while she in the excersaucer I place it at mouth level. That and the fact that she likes to chew on anything these days. The drool is also out of control. It's simply amazing.
Sorry for the rambling post. I was feeling bad that I hadn't posted in so long. Hopefully this entertained someone. :)

Do we really have to deal with another Elmo fanatic? Gideon is forbidden from such dreadful things.
It entertained me. And there is nothing wrong with Elmo!! E-GAD!! Did I just write that?!!!
For any animal to give children the sense of peace and happiness I think he is a gift from God. My nephews love Elmo and watch him before nap time. Barney is another favorite in my sisters house!
ha just hope she doesn't like the wiggles and barney! and i was very entertained!
Elmo is okay, but Zoe rocks!! My favorite toy at the nursery at Bellefield is this one where you flip a switch and she says "Hi, I'm Zoe!"
