We're in the house (pictures to come soon, I promise!)

I think I'm a horrible reader. Horrible in the sense of "not doing what I should." I am currently reading The Kite Runner and I cannot get past what the main character has done and/or not done. So I'm stalled. I can't bring myself to pick the book back up and read the rest of it because I have a very strong dislike of this character and don't want to read the story from his point of view anymore. I need some new books to read. I lost 3 books when we moved back in May. They were library books. I haven't visited the library since. This is very bad. I can't find them and I need to just suck it up and go pay them so I can borrow books again!

Although I do love to buy books. I just don't have an bottomless wallet that I can use toward that obsession.

Do not feel obligated to finish the Kite Runner--I had the same reaction. (or a similar one).

If you want recommendations, I'll give you lots. The first one being Eat Cake, which I think everyone should read at least once. It's so wonderful! And, and and it fits in with the OD sermons on gifts!

I like reading too,and I will choose what I like.If I found it boring I will stop. It's a pity, I can only read the foreign language book after translatied.I hope I can read the English original edition books and periodicals one day.

Oh I've been wanting to read Eat Cake for awhile. I need to get it and do that. I still haven't picked The Kite Runner back up. I probably will finish it at some point.

Hi Alyssa, this is Sandy from OD. I wandered over from SL's journal. What do you like to read? I have over 500 books, and I'm always willing to loan them out (I don't fine for late books...(; )

BTW the house looks great.
