Ok, here is a long overdue garden update. And it's not even completely up-do-date! But here's what I have. Tomatoes are coming in although a little slower than normal. It's cold and not really tomato weather. Which is a bit disappointing. But we're getting some, nonetheless!

Here we have the tomato and pepper beds. There is a tomatillo plant and an eggplant in there too. The tomatoes are at the top of those tall stakes now!

And here are two pictures of the wildflower garden at it's best. It's not reached the point of needing to be mowed down for the year. It got pummeled one too many times in rainstorms!

Here are some pictures of the fruits of our labor!

And a picture of some of my canning this year. Lots of jam! It's yummy! We sold some at local farmer's markets which was fun. So far this year I've made: Strawberry, Strawberry Rhubarb (Allie made this!), Blueberry, Black Raspberry, Hot Pepper, Mulberry and Tomato. I still hope to make some peach and/or red raspberry. We'll be eating good this winter!

It looks beautiful. Don't you just love the 'rich' feeling you get when you put the days harvest on your counter?
