Ok, here is a long overdue garden update. And it's not even completely up-do-date! But here's what I have. Tomatoes are coming in although a little slower than normal. It's cold and not really tomato weather. Which is a bit disappointing. But we're getting some, nonetheless!

Here we have the tomato and pepper beds. There is a tomatillo plant and an eggplant in there too. The tomatoes are at the top of those tall stakes now!

And here are two pictures of the wildflower garden at it's best. It's not reached the point of needing to be mowed down for the year. It got pummeled one too many times in rainstorms!

Here are some pictures of the fruits of our labor!

And a picture of some of my canning this year. Lots of jam! It's yummy! We sold some at local farmer's markets which was fun. So far this year I've made: Strawberry, Strawberry Rhubarb (Allie made this!), Blueberry, Black Raspberry, Hot Pepper, Mulberry and Tomato. I still hope to make some peach and/or red raspberry. We'll be eating good this winter!

I know you've all been anxiously waiting for this. It's time for a Garden Update! The weather is finally warm (ok, HOT) and things are actually growing. We had kind of a crappy, cold spring and seemed like we were really far behind for awhile. But things are catching up now. Here we go:

Here's all the raised beds viewed from the back:

Large Square Bed, (lettuce in the front, swiss chard and radishes in the back)

The "new" Bed (directly behind the large square bed) The big leaves are the broccoli, there are carrots in there too.

Small Square Bed (cabbage, notice that something is eating holes in the leaves!)

The Strawberry Bed and the beautiful strawberries!

Téah and "her" strawberries (or at least that's what she says)

She says they're yummy!

The two long beds (with tomatoes and peppers that are still catching up)

Raspberry Bed

View of the entire house (pretty hanging baskets!)

The peach tree has filled in:

It even has little peaches

and a ladybug too

Right Front:

the roses are all blooming!

And the wildflower garden is filling in too.

I'll try to post sometime this week with some pictures from vacation too.
